CardProtectPlus from MemberWorks Canada Corporation offers members the convenience and security of knowing that their important cards are registered and that they’re only a toll-free call away from an attempt to process an urgent "stop notice" on all their registered cards, if needed.
CardProtectPlus members may access their benefits by calling Members Savings toll-free at 1-800-897-9068. (Be sure to have your Membership ID on hand when you call.)
CARD AND PROPERTY SERVICES*
- Register all of your cards with us, including credit cards, debit cards, ABM cards, gasoline cards, retail cards, travel cards and more.
- We’ll attempt to process an urgent "stop notice" and replacement card services for lost or stolen cards registered with us.
- Members may receive fraud reimbursement when they notify us within 24 hours of noticing that their registered debit or ATM cards are missing.
- Receive emergency cash assistance if your registered credit cards and cash are stolen or lost. (Subject to available credit limit. Member must be at least 150km away from home.)
- A $1,000 reward is offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of someone who uses a Member’s cards fraudulently. (Members, their families, and law enforcement officials are excluded from receiving the reward.)
- If you’re stranded away from home without money or airline tickets and you’ve met the requirements for emergency cash, we can help you obtain tickets to get home safely. The tickets are charged to your card account upon approval from the card issuer.
- We will attempt to inform members’ card issuers of address changes, and we add or remove members’ cards from our registration service.
- Receive up to $1,000 worth of identity theft insurance coverage at no additional cost with an insurance underwritten by American Home Assurance Company
- Get up to $1,000** in debit card fraud protection — for a maximum of $500 per debit card — with insurance underwritten by American Home Assurance Company
- Register important document information — passport numbers, insurance policy numbers and more — with us, and access your registered information via a toll-free call.
LOST KEY AND LOCKSMITH SERVICES
- Receive a specially coded key tag that can be dropped in any mailbox "as is" for return to our office, where it is then tracked through our system to identify the member.
- Receive up to $50 reimbursement per membership term for locksmith charges if you’re locked out of your home.
24-HOUR MESSAGE SERVICE
- Leave or retrieve messages for family, friends, and/or associates while traveling, through a toll-free, 24-hour message service anywhere across North America.
